THE INFLUENCE OF ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT, PERSONAL VALUES, AND SOCIAL IDENTITY ON THE SELF-DEVELOPMENT OF MALIKUSSALEH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the academic environment, personal values, and social identity on the self-development of students at Malikussaleh University. This study uses a qualitative approach that produces quantitative data. The sample was determined using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique, with a total of 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results showed that the academic environment had a positive and significant effect on student self-development. Personal values also have a positive and significant effect on student self-development. Meanwhile, social identity had no significant effect on student self-development.
