THE EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE WORK PRODUCTIVITY OF PT. BERKAT GADAI SUMATERA

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee productivity at PT Berkat Gadai Sumatera. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 42 employees, all of whom were selected as the research sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing through the t-test and F-test. The results showed that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with a t-count of 3.261 and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. Work motivation also had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with a t-count of 8.060 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, work discipline and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with an F-count of 94.915 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, improving work discipline and work motivation simultaneously can contribute to increasing employee productivity at PT Berkat Gadai Sumatera.
